i’m eco friendly™ “Green” Holiday Kick-Off Event

i’m eco friendly™ Debuted its Stylish Eco-Totes Amidst a Backdrop of Glitz and Green.

To celebrate the debut of its eco-fashion bag collection, i’m eco friendly™ hosted a launch party that offered the press and the Los Angeles public an afternoon of fun and shopping in “green" style. It was a successful afternoon wherein guests were introduced to a colorful assortment of holiday must-haves.

On Saturday November 15, from 12 pm to 4 pm, TRÜYOGA in Santa Monica, Calif., opened the doors to its luxurious, sustainable yoga studio; the green carpet was rolled out; the scent of incense and delicious organic food created by Eco Caters & Chef Nick Brune greeted the guests.

Encompassing with i’m eco friendly’s™ “Vertically Green” motto, other reputable eco-conscious vendors, starting with Earth Friendly Products, a leader in the green world, joined in the event as sponsors or supporters.

Among the guests that walked the green carpet was the talented Sofia Vassilieva, best known as Ariel Dubois in Medium and the title role in the Eloise movies. Sofia next stars alongside Cameron Diaz, Alec Baldwin and Abigail Breslin, in My Sister’s Keeper, which was directed by Nick Cassavetes.

Also in attendance were Winter Ave Zoli, (Sex and Death 101, The Oh in Ohio, Joel Schumacher’s Creek and the upcoming Pagan Queen); Christina Ulloa, (Charmed, Bones, Veronica Mars); Katerina Moutsatsos, a celebrated actress in Greece and Turkey; star organic decorator, Kelly LaPlante as well as many more noted Angelenos.

Highlights of the event included i’m eco friendly™ gift totes—filled with products, samples and coupons from the event’s participating sponsors, as well as a “sneak preview” of the brand’s upcoming collection of carryalls made of “avocado” and “sweet potato” colored certified organic cotton canvas.

Partygoers entered to win a "Use What You've Got" Designer Restaurament (Makeover in French) with noted eco-interior decorator Kelly LaPlante. The Venice- based sustainable design expert will spend three dynamic hours re-imagining the winner’s living space showing how to achieve a fresh home look while going “green” in style and on a budget. Topping it all off, Janis Burns, who has provided therapy and support for world class and Olympic cyclists and is TRÜYOGA’s in-house massage therapist, treated guests to 5-minute chair massages.
